Playgroups
Our playgroups offer a safe and fun learning environment
Our play groups are designated for children, ages 10 months to 6 years old. This is a time where children play in a safe environment with their parents by their side. We have all the large equipment of a gymnastics gym, including spring floors, bars, beams, and a tumble trak, but we also have preschool sized bars, beams, and training aids sized for smaller children.
This is a great opportunity for parents to spend quality time with their little one as parents are required on the floor. Play groups are staff supervised but NOT a structured class. Our prices are minimal, with no registration required and we offer punch cards. Times and prices can be located on the class schedule. For groups of 15 or more, please call to reserve a slot. Drop-in Care / Kiddie Kare
This is a program developed for families to allow them a morning out to run errands, get an oil change, etc. while the children are enjoying developmentally appropriate activities and open gym play.
To make your reservation, call 336-815-1688 between 9 a.m. and Noon the day before you need to reserve a spot (call on Friday to make a reservation for the following Monday).
To enroll in this service there is a $40 registration fee is required annually. Costs: $30 for 3 hours / $15 for the second child (siblings only for multi-child discount).
Other requirements:
- Must be bathroom independent (upper age is 6)
- Bring your own snack and water bottle
- Bring a change of clothes in case of a potty accident
- Outside toys are not recommend
Parent’s Night Out
Old Town Gymnastic Academy offers Parent’s Night Out (PNO)! This gives parents an opportunity to have their own date night and not worry about the kids being entertained or exhausting the grandparents!
- If you are enrolled in OTGA, check Facebook and your email for PNO dates and themes.
- If you are not enrolled in OTGA, check our Facebook or on our lobby bulletin board.
PNOs are held on Saturday nights, 7-10 p.m. and includes some fun themes that are pre-announced. PNO is offered twice a month. These events are more structured and include pizza and a drink, plus some open gym play time. To register for our PNO contact oldtowngymnasticsacademy@gmail.com or call 336-815-1688.

Parties
We offer fun and easy parties for all occasions! Parties are supposed to be fun and enjoyable, and here in Winston-Salem at Old Town Gymnastics Academy, we make sure that everyone has fun – even the parents! With a fun, local, family-owned business that is fully air-conditioned and easy to plan for, what better way to celebrate your child’s birthday than here? With our ability to throw easy and fun parties, we entertain the kids, and you can enjoy the party too!
During the party, children are able to tumble and play. If you choose, our host can guide the party guests through organized games and obstacle courses, incorporating fun and fitness, or you can have free play for the entire hour! During this time, the gym is reserved exclusively for your party. For the last half hour of the party, when the fun and games are over, the party host will help with serving the children. They will also clean up – no hassle for you!
Parties are scheduled for 90 minute time slots on Saturdays and Sundays. Parties are to begin and end promptly to be fair to waiting groups. You may arrive 30 minutes early to set up. A non-refundable/non-transferable deposit is required at time of reservation to secure your spot.
You will need to provide: decorations, table cloths, refreshments (NO ALCOHOL) party favors, etc. Two long tables and a shorter one plus several chairs are available for use at the gym as needed.
- Pricing includes up to 12 children ($5 fee for each additional child).
- Additional time for parties must be arranged ahead of time and the cost is $25 per every 30 additional minute block.
- Deposit is required at the time of reservation.

Open Gym / Workout
Open gym is an opportunity for our recreational class students to make up missed classes, or for any child to get some extra time in the gym. Currently open gyms are scheduled for Wednesday afternoons and include both preschool and school age children. There is a cost for open gym unless it is used as a make-up for a missed class. Clinics
Offered periodically and are structured on a specific skill set / skill level. These clinics are intensive and average about 3 hours in length. These are also great for groups such as Cheerleaders needing help with their back handsprings (BHS).

Summer Camps
Private Lessons
Available by request. Time must be pre-arranged with Coach of choice (and factors on their/gym availability). Private lessons are great for help with a talent show or help with BHS for Cheerleading tryouts. Please email oldtowngymnasticsacademy@gmail.com to schedule a private lesson.
