East Bend Pool

In 1967, a project initiated by the East Bend Jaycees along with community support, began the ground breaing for a recreation park, better known as the East Bend Recreation Park (Pool). The land was donated by Joe C. Matthews and the pool was to be owned and directed by it’s members. A lot has changed since the pool opening of 1969 and the most recent change came with new leadership. 

In the Summer of 2021, Coach Alex was voted in as president of the East Bend Pool. Under Alex’s leadership, many needed repairs have been made including: new pumps, electrical work, painting, and a new roof, just to name a few! The pool is looking fantastic and is being enjoyed by young and old alike! Both Coach Alex & Coach Tuti have donated many hours of service along with financial support to the East Bend Pool. Just another way the Old Town Gymnastics Academy and it’s staff are giving back to improve our community.
